1851, Beaver, 3d red, laid paper, good margins all around, very fine tied by rare Blue oval to folded letter sheet bearing red ST. ANDREWS U.C. in circle with manuscript "July 7th 1852" in centre, on reverse red Kingston c.d.s. (Scott 1).

A very fine example of the laid paper being used in the wove period which were delivered in April 1852. The stamp is hinged on cover to verify paper used in wove period.
