STATES on reverse QUEENSTON MAY 1 1852 transit and another red c.d.s. Lovely cover from obscure NY town to another town in Haldmand Co. The manner in which this rate was paid before the issuance of the 10¢ stamps in 1855 (Scott 11, 7).
