1870, 30¢ black and 6¢ carmine, fine, both with some perforation faults, tied by cork cancels on somewhat trimmed legal envelope bearing black BOSTON SEP 8 c.d.s. and manuscript "Fd. 8th Sept 1870" to Baltimore. An early usage for the 30¢ (Scott 154, 148).
