Schermack Type III, group of thirteen 1¢ and eight 2¢, each pre-cancelled NEW YORK, NY and on an ALEXANDER HAMILTON INSTITUTE envelope containing generally two pamphlets being transcribed "Talks" or "Lectures" of economic content. Used in the late 19 teens to early 1920's. Some a bit rough. Also eight other envelopes bearing unperforated philatelic and fascinating reading.
