Providence, R.I., 1846, 5¢ gray black, genuine stamp, margins all around, tied by red 5 in circle and manuscript cancel on 1846 folded letter sheet bearing red PROVIDENCE FEB 27 (6 month before issuance of stamp). Very, very impressive and artful (Scott 10X1 var.).
