Used to Germany: 1862-63, 2¢ black + 3¢ rose + 5¢ brown + two 10¢ green, all generally F.-V.F., tied by WASHINGTON DC APR 28 cds and segmented corks on 1865 envelope bearing red N. YORK AM. PKT 7 PAID and manuscript "per Prussian Closed Mails" on front and transit and Germany receiver on the reverse. A wonderful and lovely four-color cover, Foundation certificate (2013) (Scott 73, 65, 76, 68).
