Used to Russia: 1888 (16 May) cover from Mount Fletcher (Territory of Griqualand East) to Livonia, Russia bearing 1884-90 ½d black, 1d rose-red and 6d purple, all tied by "451" BONC cancels, cover bears MOUNT FLETCHER MY 16 88 c.d.s. and large red "2½d" handstamp, also tying stamps, endorsed "Via England," backstamped with hooded Queenstown and Cape Town transit c.d.s., red London transit of 19 June 1888 and Russian receiver, a colorful and extremely rare destination., ex Dillaway.
