Lot 23		U.S. Stamps Used in Canada: 1857, 10¢ green, type I, tied by "21" in 4-ring cancel (Montreal) on neat envelope bearing MONTREAL JU 3 1858 receiver. The stamp unfortunately has "margin added top and left" and the envelope has a "repaired back flap", Foundation certificate (2013). Listed but unpriced in Scott (Scott 31). Estimate $750 - 1,000 The cover probably arrived uncancelled in Canada and was cancelled by the authorities there and continued on its path.
