The Whiting & Co's Feather River Express operated from 1857 to 1868. Fenton B. Whiting, partnered with Henry C. Everts G.W. Morley and E.E. Meek to form Whiting & Co's Feather River Express in 1857. They were leading operators in northern Plumas County. The business was sold to Garland & Company in 1868 .
