France, 1500's to 1900's Letters and Documents: Approximately 600 items, some from the 1500's, and on skin, a fair number from the 1600's, rest from the 1700's and 1800's with a few 1900's including fiscal handstamps "Timbres Royal", "Republique Francaise" a few adhesives and a number of Malta Crosses, nobility, families, Louis XV, military, Napoleonic, Justices signatures,newspapers, journals, telegraphs, not well organized but all in clear plastic holders in 8 ring binders, many with cost prices in the hundreds of dollars. Brush up on reading old French, if organized would be most impressive. (2 Boxes).
