1847, 5¢ red brown, PAIR with mostly margins all around tied by manuscript "X" on a folded letter sheet docketed "Farmersburgh June 21" and addressed to "Hon. Isaac Davis L.L.D. Worcester, Mass". Accompanied by 5¢ single on cover (most margins and crease) to Davis from New York (Scott 1).

1847, 10¢ black, position 22R, good to very large margins all around, Extremely Fine, tied by blue PHILADELPHIA NOV 5 10 cds on complete folded letter sheet to Lowell, Mass. Cover is addressed to a "Colour Maker" and makes reference to the needed color blue as printed on front (!), and refers extensively to the cholera epidemic then taking place in Philadelphia, P.S.E. certificate (1990) (Scott 2).
